I’m taking this post way more hardcore than ever. In general, I don’t like double-penetration. It seems a little excessive and the photography and film is never tasteful.
But when my friends at X-Art cast Erica in a double-penetration scene – her first one and, to my memory, their first as well, I was compelled to watch. The East Cost experienced 3 incidents this past week that are extremely rare for the area: A 5.8 magnitude earthquake that shook from Virginia to NY, a hurricane that is (currently, as we type) following along the same path, and Artful Porn showcased a series that featured double-penetration. (Mental note for future vacation planning: Maybe mid-August is not the best time to travel to/from the Bahamas.)
As we’ve remarked before, there is a sad (but unnecessary) inverse correlation out there between the spectrum of soft-to-hardcore pornograph vs. the spectrum of art-to-smut. We’ve noticed how Pat & girlfriend typically shy from the overly rough stuff (e.g. we’re not expecting an “Artful Gang Bangs!” post anytime soon) and believe this is due to the inverse-porn-to-art axiom we’ve stated above. (Sorry, btw, we’re full of wine, post-coitus, and calmly waiting for the power to go out any moment, so we’re ranting a bit here to celebrate the rainy/windy moment indoors of the still-lit laptop screen on the bed.)
What we thought would be interesting tonight is not to pause and mourn the lack of artistic sex out there, but why, in this case, the world of double-penetrations as a category just won’t ever get into future a Met Art Hall of Erotica Fame. Maybe to understand it you have to first ponder the pornography industry’s disproportionate obsession with anal sex. While this act has always been practiced in the bedrooms of America–(The Newlywed Game’s famous unaired Q&A–Bob Eubanks: “What is the most unusual place you’ve ever made whoopee?” Contestant: “Up da butt.”)–it certainly seems to have increased in popularity for the X, Y, and whatever we’re now calling the post-Y generations. Still, and maybe this is just anecdotal evidence of how the two us and our friends are ultimately sexual squares despite our bold fantasies expressed on Artful Porn–it just seems to always be a secondary thing to, you know, the good old fun act of intercourse (or 69′s or tit-fucking or cunnilingus or insert you & your favorite partner’s default position here.)
One theory is anal sex is such a purely forceful sexual act that it’s the fact the model is doing the act itself that is the turn on. Some refer to this as “anal sex brings out such a guttural reaction from the female, you feel like you’re finally seeing into her sexual soul.” We’d like to refer to this more as the Onion’s headline “Desensitized Populace Demands New Orifice To Look At.” Double-penetration is just the next logical extension.
