The (Missing) Art of the 69

It’s a strange paradox that in the world of erotica, “Position 69” is one of the most famous, instantly recognizable sexual positions, and yet it is nearly impossible to find a comparable great photograph depicting that pleasurable pose in the world of porn. We suspect this is mostly due to logistical reasons: The camera lens has to somehow take in the full length of both performers; it’s rare that you would get to capture all those significant body parts all in one shot (e.g. even if you capture the mouth-to-watering vagina and mouth-to-rod actions, the woman’s arms are likely to block her breasts, etc.); and like internal cum-shots you can’t physically see the evidence of orgasm. (Although it is typically presented as another foreplay precursor to fucking, it is one of the greatest ways for a couple to climax simultaneously.) So throughout the months of reading Artful Porn, and in our negotiated Top 10 lists we’ve always kept the look-out for “The Perfect 69”.
