5 Reasons Why We Love Porn (And You Should Too!)

Sometimes I can be a bit of a porn evangelist. I love the stuff, and I genuinely want everybody to check it out and at least give it a chance. In fact, with all the fantastic porn being produced, I’m beginning to think that the people who just “don’t like it” are just lazy. Here are five reasons we love and support porn, and you should too!

• You’re supposed to like porn! Taken from WikiAnswers: People like sex. And no matter what it is about people will write about it, make drawings, paintings and movies, even statues of it. As a result of the way normal, healthy people are built, they become sexually excited when they see a sexual act.
• There’s Something for Everybody. Gone are the days of “sleazy porn.” Oh sure, if that’s your thing, it exists and is still being produced. But now porn spans all sorts of genres and styles. All you need to do is spend a little time and effort to find the right porn for you!
• Porn is good for you. Research suggests that people who regularly enjoy hardcore pornography have a higher quality of life, happier marriages, show a more positive attitude towards the opposite sex, and live longer, healthier lives. Source.
• Porn is good for society. According to a Yahoo article, porn creates jobs, generates money for the economy, and reduces stalking and rape related crime. Amazing.
• Porn encourages artists. Let’s face it, the art of filmmaking is all but lost in the “mainstream” world. We just don’t see dramatic lighting, Kubrick-esque blocking or creative camera angles very much. Hollywood has shunned the art-house film, but the style is alive and well in the porn industry. It’s what this site is all about after all.
