That was certainly true of Joymii’s incredible photos of Amirah Adara from last week. But what of the associated video feature?
This short preview simply doesn’t do the whole film justice, only allowing you a glimpse of some basic porn moments. Go ahead and watch it – it’s nice, but this film is so much greater than that.

Joymii’s latest update features Amirah Adara and Anna P. in a vision of lesbian lust in a beautiful and brightly lit room with magnificent stonework on the walls. This series highlights Joymii’s penchant for high-class and noteworthy photography firmly rooted in the erotic space. Although the title suggests a more extreme form of pornography, I’m happy to report that Joymii keeps it classy and interesting. You’re going to love these pictures, but since Joymii has been kind enough to allow me access to the members section, I have to share a few details about the video. Generally you see a disconnect between the post-production quality in the photography versus the video on these sort of sites, and I’ve noticed that here and there on Joymii. But they really nailed it on this video. Everything is beautifully shot and very much matches the style and qualities of the artsy photos.

I haven’t met or spoken with the masterminds behind Joymii, but the content speaks for itself. I can tell that this project is put together by people who really love porn and take pride in what they do. This is evidenced by the quality of the photos in this series called “Threesome Lust” featuring Eliana, Presley and Xander. Again, you see a lot of fancy camera work with lots of natural light. I wonder if the photography is all done in-house or if they have it done by somebody else. Whoever it is, hats off to you photographer. This is what’s been missing in porn and we’re happy to see such consistency here!

Like most Joymii updates, this one is all about creative camera angles and framing. This erotic vision is set in the same location that most Joymii photos are set – in that room with the big window. Avril and Logan are drenched in brilliant natural lighting and it gives a very “afternoon delight” feel to the set, though I can’t help but wonder if it’s actually early morning.
Also note the intensity – particulaly through Avril’s face and body language. I love it when the subject communicates all that sexy energy through the lens.

With a title of “Artful,” Joymii is a site after my own heart. In the mailer, they commented that they were impressed by how artfully Tea came out of her shell for this erotic film. It’s quite beautiful to watch and it’s just further evidence that explicit erotica like this is artful.
But this video also highlights a lot of the reasons that my colleagues and I are interested in porn on such a deep level. On the one hand, it touches on something very raw inside each of us and elicits a very real emotional response. That is compelling on the most basic animal level.
But more than sexual stimulous, porn – that is to say good porn – is intricate and subtle. There is a delicate performance art involved and Tea knows that on some subconcious level. That’s why this video works and that is why porn is art.
